"Fishing"

Going to a lake or playing in your little kid pool in the back yard? Grab a stick and tie on a long piece of fishing line (you can just use floss or yarn or whatever you have), then use some life savers or a rock for the anchor so the line sinks. Kids just love "fishing". Imaginations go wild on this one. They just love casting and holding their line in the water. Pack a bag of gold fish or Swedish fish for your snack.

On a rainy or cold winter day this would even be a fun one to do in the bath tub or over a blanket with prizes on the other side.
