This is a great craft to whip out while you are preparing your Thanksgiving meal, or to let a relative help with while you are busy in the kitchen. Also, don't forget the ever classic "hand turkey". Just trace your kids hands and let them color and create wild turkeys.

Being a Momma
Being A Mom is the most important job you will ever do. A day’s work in the life of a mom cannot be measured by stacks of paper, trophies won or products sold. At the end of each day, you find that there are still dirty diapers to be changed, mouths to feed and floors to clean. However, in between all these tasks that seem, at times, to be mundane, there is an incredible sense of joy that accompanies motherhood. Join with us, as we take pride and pleasure in the simple smile of a child. From entertaining, to strictly applying discipline, we would like to walk with you through this journey, in hopes of offering some ideas, tips, hope... and maybe even a giggle or two.

Thanksgiving craft
Here's a Thanksgiving craft we did today, to add to the awesome ideas Ashlee shared below. I actually got this from my cousin, so it's not an original. :) All you need are gummy spice drops/gum drops, toothpicks, and an apple. Jab a few spice drops onto your toothpicks for feathers, then cut the tips off of a couple for eyes (they stick on fine by themselves without the aid of a toothpick), cut one in half for the "beak" and same for the wattle. You can do as many rows of feathers as you want. If you have a tipsy apple, just put a couple of toothpicks down by the bottom as a sort of "kickstand." Of course a few gumdrops will land in your kids mouths, and that's okay too.

I made these for snack at school today with my class. They loved being able to "play" with their food. Thanks for the idea.
Those are adorable!
